Anne Louise Phillips is a writer based in Mississippi. She earned a BA in English with a creative writing focus at Mississippi State University, and is currently an MFA candidate at Mississippi University for Women. As Weez Phillips, she publishes children’s and middle-grade fiction. Her work is atmospheric, influenced by magical realism, and rooted in place. Her stories and poems have been published in Cicadian Rhythm Zine, the final issue of Big Muddy, and The Streetcar. She is currently a poetry editor for Quibble Lit.
